Red Crab 1 Seafood - Bala Cynwyd

I just stopped by with my daughter for a meal. The interior is quite appealing and clean, featuring a lively atmosphere with music and flat-screen TVs. Our waiter was very accommodating. They have large bench tables, perfect for families to enjoy their seafood together. I ordered the fried shrimp and fries, while my daughter chose the chicken tenders and fries. Everything was pretty good. I plan to return soon and hope this place can maintain its quality and service.

This was my first time eating here, and my meal was perfect. However, during my second visit, my snow crabs were cold. Today, I ordered Cajun fried rice with shrimp, and the rice was old and hard. I’m not sure what the problem is, but considering the high prices, the service and food quality have been disappointing.

I had a fantastic first experience at this restaurant. The service was quick, attentive, and friendly. When my order was incorrect, they promptly replaced it within minutes. The food was exceptional. I will definitely be coming back!

Firstly, the waitress, who seemed to double as a cashier, had terrible customer service skills. We ordered cheese steak egg rolls as an appetizer, but they arrived just 30 seconds before our main courses. When I tried mine, it was cold in the center and overly greasy, plus it looked like it had been fried in dirty oil. When my husband mentioned that it was cold, she brought us another one, but it was even worse than the first. The shrimp was passable, but I was put off by the fact that they weren't deveined. Throughout our visit, the waitress was unfriendly and unwelcoming. When my husband decided to leave, he expressed that we wouldn’t be coming back, and I completely agree!

This is, without a doubt, the best seafood restaurant I have ever visited in my life. It's BYOB, has a relaxed atmosphere, easy parking, and friendly service. Do yourself a favor and give it a try—you won't regret it! A special shoutout to Joyce for being an excellent server.
