As a photographer I loved all the retro cameras that they had in this establishment. The seating arrangement and style of tables and chairs reminds me of being back at school. Even the menus resemble my old high school textbooks with the faint grey lines for writing on. WiFi is pretty terrible but there’s lots of power outlets and air conditioning so it’s a really nice place to come and work from. #BeatTheGrind

This restaurant and café is excellent place to come for some baklava or a glass of wine. It’s almost like you’re sitting in someone’s living room area it’s so cozy and intimate with great knickknacks all over the wall. The man who helped service tonight was so kind and cheerful that we will definitely be back again :

If you're like me and have an eye for eclectic design, retro detailing, and a comfortable environment, then you'll likely agree Old School is the best cafe in Baku. A vintage stereo services three distinct rooms with jazz from the golden ages: big band, mambo, exotica, et al. The menu is light fare and finger foods, but served with simple and elegant distinction. There's nothing like it in Baku, so if you find yourself having grown tired of the ultra-modern and luxurious side of the city, come relax somewhere artful and unique.

Friendly staff and service. Good place to chill and to have drinks. Also great and silent place if you want to play games such as chess, checkers or to read books as well.
