Senor Pepe - Bakersfield

Excellent, friendly service, large portions and consistently delicious Mexican food. It has been a great lunch and dinner time experience every time we visit. The Head Hostess/Waitress (I 'll post her name when I 'm sure I have it correct) goes out of her way to make sure each guest feels welcome and comfortable. On just our 2nd visit she remembered us and said 'Welcome Home! ' It 's THAT kind of place that keeps us coming back regularly!

Food was very good. Restaurant was busy and didn't have to wait long for our food. Service was good but disorganized. Two different people would bring you menu and drinks. The a waiter/ waitress would take your order. The rest of meal you were serviced by the first two people. Hardly saw the waitress after the order. Will still go back to try the buffet. Overall it was good. Everyone was friendly.

Awesome service, and really good food. The queso was about as good as most good places in Texas, with a bit more kick. You usually have to add jalapenos in Texas, but not I'm this one for sure the house made tortilla chips that accompany the queso were freaking awesome. Don't get full on them though. Fajitas were good, but I'm used to the meat being sliced a bit thicker. All in all, not the absolute best, but really dang good, and convenient as well if you are in one of the hotels close by.

Good restaurant. Staff was very friendly. The woman bussing the table was better than my waiter and she is appreciated for that. I ordered the crab relleno it had too many onions for my liking but it had a very good cream sauce. Chips and salsa were good. I will visit again if I'm back in the area for work.

First time here. Food was pretty good. No complaints. We ordered the lunch specials. The taquitos and enchilada taco combo. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back.
