Santiago's Grill Seafood - Bakersfield

This was the worst place for a date night with my husband. We were hoping to enjoy a nice seafood dinner, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Setting aside the atmosphere, the customer service was absolutely terrible! After a long wait for our food, it was finally brought to us by the dishwasher, poor guy. He didn’t have any condiments with the food, since that clearly isn’t part of his role, and he didn’t know what to offer us. We even had to warm up our tortillas ourselves because the servers were too preoccupied watching the girls dancing at the bar.

This was our first visit, and we've passed by this restaurant for a few years, always wanting to try it. I regret waiting so long! The food was excellent, but what stood out the most was the fantastic service and positive attitude of the staff. I highly recommend coming here. Food: 4/5.

Chile Verde chimichanga!!! I've been visiting this restaurant for more than ten years. Francisco is fantastic, and both the food and service are outstanding. I can't recommend this hidden gem highly enough. Treat yourself; you won’t regret it! Food: 5/5
