Salty's Bbq Catering - Bakersfield

Salty's serves the best barbecue in Bakersfield. The tri-tip is smoky and tender, and the BBQ sauce complements it perfectly. The sides are also excellent - tonight we enjoyed the buttery rice pilaf and fresh, crunchy coleslaw with a light sauce and seasoning.

The food at this restaurant is amazing! Every side dish is outstanding, especially the green beans.

Both the brisket and chicken were very dry. The high price is unacceptable given the improper cooking.

I love their smoke flavor on the meats. I have had the brisket, hot links and pork and they have always been moist with great flavors. The slaw, mac n cheese and tatter salad are all super yummy as well. My only critique is that I wished they had a mustard vinegar sauce in addition to their sweet red bbq sauce. But that is just a preference on my part Overall worthy of five stars.

First time ordering from this establishment via DoorDash ribs werent cooked and were salty I had the rib , tri tip, pulled pork and brisket best part was actually the brisket even though it wasnt cut it was just a huge slab , the Mac and cheese was very dry hardly no cheese at all .only ordered because barnyard was closed decided to try something different, price totally not worth it
