Long John Silver's - Bakersfield

Are used to long john silver it was a pretty good restaurant with very good eating, but the long john silver on ming avenue in bakersfield customer service they are totally sucking they are very rude and they act as if they were not there and it shows very disappointed

I decided to get a shot from my childhood at LJS today. I got the 2 fish combo with fries, hushpuppies and slaw. The food was delicious and the service was great. My only complaint would be that when I walked in I was the only customer and there were like 5 tables with trash or dried sauce still on them. Do recommend.

The pieces of chicken look like chicken nuggets that's how small they were so I had to get my order back because I remember when pieces of chicken at Long John silver's used to be the size of the fish if they want too much for little food

Giving 2 stars as food was awesome. But customer service sucked. First, there was no one at the counter for atleast 5 mins. Then this girl comes in, who seemed like she didn't want to be there. No greetings at all. I smiled, she just looked at me straight I ordered fish and chicken platter. No sauce provided. Had to ask for ketchup. Same treatment to the other customers who dined in. I still enjoyed the food.

Have not been here in a while. They have a lot of new menu items. I stuck with more of the old favorites. It was good. The way I remember it always tasting. One of the New items is Salmon. It looks good. I should good back and try that.
