I am working out here in bakersfield im from la and this place is the best authentic mexican food out here must try the chivo tacos ive tryed prety much every thing and its fire and definitely affordable try the borego best I've ever had the salsa is fire and I mean hot!! Tortillas all made from scratch

Simple, delicious food a a down-home taqueria. Stopped for lunch and enjoyed an excellent chicken burrito, along with friendly service.

The only downside to this restaurant is its location; I believe that if it were situated in a better area, it would attract a lot more customers. Although it didn’t look like much from the outside, both the interior and exterior were clean. The food was quite good! They offered birria de chivo (goat) and borrego (lamb), and I opted for the borrego. It was flavorful, not dry, and reasonably priced. The lady serving me was very kind; when she asked if I wanted panza (stomach) de borrego alongside the meat and I declined since I had never tried it before, she generously offered me a free taco to taste it. It was delicious as well. Overall, I had a great experience, and the service was excellent. The restrooms were clean, which is always a plus in restaurants in Bakersfield.

Throughout my life, my family has always enjoyed consome and birria. I visited this restaurant and ordered the borrego, but it was a huge disappointment! It was a definite NO! Terrible! Very, very bad!

I really miss this place! The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding.
