El Capitan Mexican Grill Cantina

The food is outstanding. I had the chili verde omelet, big chunks of meat. The service was fast and super friendly.

One of my favorite places in Bakersfield. Lots of people go every day just for the albundigas.

I love this place. The waitresses are always so attentive and always come around to ask if you need more refill or if there is anything else they can get for you. I've been coming to this place for years.

Another amazing place we just happened to find. Stopped for lunch in Bakersfield on our way back to Arizona. We pulled into the shopping plaza that had several restaurants to choose from, and we decided to try El Capitan. Great service and great food. I ordered the combo plater with a cheese and onion enchilada and taco. It also came with rice and beans. I am very picky when it comes to enchilada sauce, and their's was perfect. Hubby ordered the stuffed quesadilla that included asada, cheese, fries, and guacamole. It was so stuffed that he could only eat half, and it was very delicious.

This is one of my favorite places in Bakersfield. I love all the food that I’ve tried from their menu. Happy hour is so worth it there because they make amazing margaritas for $5. This is the fajita burrito it was delicious. The people who work here are very kind and very talented.
