Burger King - Bakersfield

I stopped by here on Friday the 12th to order about 40 orders of burgers and fries for my class of students for their excellent citizenship and academic achievement. Every staff member was friendly, professional, and so helpful, from the cashiers, to the line staff, cooks and management. My order was ready on time, so everything was warm when my students got their treats! Thank you to all the staff at the Burger King on Merle Haggard and 65. You guys made the day for my students!

This is, without a doubt, the best Burger King location. I used to think BK was just average until I visited this place. The difference that freshness makes is incredible. Every time we've gone to the Merle Haggard location, the food has been super fresh and hot, and the wait isn't long either. I can't recall a single time when the staff wasn't polite and friendly. They've never messed up an order and always check to see if we need anything else, like condiment packets, etc.

I had a coupon for 2 Whopper Jr. meals that came with fries. The fries were fresh, hot, and delicious! The burgers were okay, but not outstanding. I should mention that this might be a personal preference since I’ve gotten used to turkey burgers and actually prefer turkey over beef now. Overall, even though I probably won’t order this again, I would say it was a good experience.

On top of that, I was having a really tough day, and their friendly customer service and smiles were so uplifting—they genuinely boosted my spirits. We often underestimate the impact of a smile and kind words on others. This place feels like a hidden gem. Thank you to the staff and Burger King; they all deserve bonuses and pay raises at this location!
