T&d's Country Store, Lounge - Baker

I ordered the veggie deli sandwich, which tasted similar to something you could find at a grocery store for a lower price. My friend mentioned that the chicken fingers he ordered tasted like they were store-bought as well. Overall, the food was just average and seemed overpriced. Although I wouldn't necessarily recommend dining here, it is worth noting that the place also serves as a grocery store. It is the only one for miles around, making it a convenient option for last-minute items. We ended up purchasing firewood and ice for our camping trip. Prices are listed in a binder, and we found that a dozen eggs cost $10. If you find yourself in need of supplies while in Great Basin, this restaurant/grocery store is your only choice.

Nice staff. My 12 year old was satisfied with her pasta and meatballs. My burrito was just awful. I heard other diners say the pizza was good.

After getting to camp we were notified we couldn't set a fire so we had to come up with something else for dinner on our camping trip and this was one of 2 restaurants we found on yelp in Baker. This was our 2nd choice (based on reviews and the other restaurant having gluten free options) but the restaurant across the street told us the wait would be an hour. First, this place is not fancy but the waitress was VERY nice and the food reasonably priced. My husband had a personal pizza, the littles shared chicken nachos, my oldest had a burrito and I had spinach ravioli. My ravioli was just okay but everyone else enjoyed their food and had plenty to eat.

My husband and I stopped in Baker for the night in our RV. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs, I had the spinach tortellini with marinara sauce. The portions were large, the homemade sauce was delicious and the wine pours were large. The best part, however, were the hosts. Terry and Deb shared wonderful stories with us about their lives and what it takes to live in a small beautiful community like Baker.

The staff at this restaurant is very friendly. They got my order right, I had a turkey sandwich and it was delicious. The only downside is that it takes a while to place your order and the food takes a long time to come out. If you have the patience, I recommend coming here to enjoy their delicious meals.
