Chives Door County - Baileys Harbor

Amazing restaurant. This is the 10th anniversary of Chives in Baileys Harbor. Chef Brandon has outdone himself on bringing back favorites from the past with his spin. Now we were lucky to have two of those dishes, Hanger Steak and Crab/Lobster Mac and Cheese. OMG!!!!! Best food we have ever had, hands down. We consider ourselves (foodies) and have sampled many of the restaurant's in the upper Midwest. These two dishes were perfect. Well done Brandon. The service was exceptional also. Robert was excellent in his wine pairing. Impressive restaurant. We will be back in October.

We were a party of 4 and everyone was beyond pleased with their meal.. service too was outstanding. There was not a single complaint, in fact we were talking about how soon until we went again. Well done!

A very nice restaurant with great outdoor dining and views of Baileys Harbor. The food is good but as is common the wine and draft beer were overpriced. Food and service are consistently good.

This is our second trip to Chives as out of state visitors. Once again we were thrilled to have a fine dining experience. The menu is focused and everything we have tried thus far has been excellent. They are very accommodating of those with gluten free dining needs. Our server was exceptional and a joy to speak with. We will definitely be back, and we highly recommend Chives in Baileys Harbor!

Food was okay, by far not outstanding. Don't order the drink with cinnamon infused rum! Asked if we were celebrating anything and we said our 35th anniversary, but apparently oh well! Jack our waiter was very professional and the hostess was very nice. We won't be going back anytime soon
