Bidrage med feedbackThe chef at this restaurant is really talented and prepares delicious dishes. I didn't get sick the next day, so there was no contamination. Just make sure to not substitute the meat for veggies.
When you visit this restaurant, be sure to clearly communicate to the waitress and cook that you require a gluten-free meal. I thought the only safe option for me was the fish, but after eating it, I became very sick with a severe reaction. I suspected that the fish had been coated in flour before cooking, and my friend confirmed this when they called the restaurant. I later spoke to the owner and found out that the waitress had forgotten to inform the cook about my gluten-free needs, leading to the unfortunate mistake.
The restaurant has changed their menu and is no longer safe for those with celiac disease.
If you go there, clearly remind to waitress to tell cook you are gf I took the only thing that seemed safe after talking to the waitress that I was celiac and needed to eat gf: the fish. She even went to talk to the cook to verify. After 3h I got sick with painful cramps... My girlfriend called them because I suspected they had rolled the fish lightly in flour because of my hard reaction. And yes they put some flour on the fish before cooking it in the pan!!!!!! When i got better, called to talk to owner abiut what happened. Found out that the waitress forgot to tell the cook that my plate needed to be gf. Therefore, the cook did not know to not roll the fish in flour.
They changed their menu. not safe for celiac anymore unfortunately
