Bidrage med feedbackMy wife and I stumbled across this restaurant on our first night in Tuscany. We had a brilliant meal. The restaurant caters for locals rather than tourists but was quite full, with local diners. This is always a good sign for me. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was authentic Tuscan cuisine. It was reasonably priced and a memorable experience.
We spent a week in Tuscany, based in Grassina, renting a little house. Osteria del Rosso became one of our regular dining choices. The menu changes daily. Everything we had was absolutely fabulous. Wild boar pici, the tuna, and the steak stood out even further. As did the special request carbonara when one of our kids couldn’t settle on a choice from the menu. And you can pick us some groceries on the ways out.
We had a fantastic evening. We were driving through the countryside and were looking for a place to eat. This was one of the few places open on Monday. I ate the best black truffle pasta of my life (pasta perfectly al dente, rich in butter and perfectly balanced truffle taste). The staff were very friendly and dedicated, the locals didn't hesitate to include us in their conversations. All of this made that we thoroughly enjoyed this unexpected experience.

Sempre al Top.. Una sicurezza ormai.. Toscana allo stato puro.. da provare il Tagliere Del Rosso con un quartino di Vino Rosso tagliata buona fettuccine ai porcini ottime!!
