Cafe C Ella - Badulla

A really beautiful place a great recommendation when you stay in Ella. The food is amazing, as well as the service. The food was made fresh, and we have it in a good time, not like in other places where you wait age. We had the Veggie Curry that was Huuuge. The waiter even told me if I want more, I just have to say something. And we had the Kottu chicken, which was also very huge and a lot of chicken. Overall, I can really change this place! We were the first to be there. You should try.

Shows the absolutely best place to eat rice and curry in Ella. We have been in Sri Lanka for more than a month and that was the best meal we had.Perfect amount of spices and sweetness, fresh and simply totally delicious!! really recommend!!!

One of the best places on our trip, nice service, very delicious authentic food.

We had dinner here 3 times and highly recommend this place. The rice and curry is delicious and comes with 9 or 10 dishes plus rice cooked in banana leave. We especially liked the eggplant curry, dhal, salad, and chicken curry here but honestly, every dish was great. The curries are refilled if needed but portions are huge and I don't think it's necessary for most guests. Kottu was great, too. Food is not too spicy but still flavorful and chilis are provided for those who like spicier food. Service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is not the most stylish or cozy place, but seems authentic and the food is worth a visit.
