¡muy Bien! - Bad Homburg

Stumbled on this by accident, after a visit to the Tourist information in the same building. Having had wome very mediocre tapas in Frankfurt, we were a little sceptical, but boy, were we wrong! Fantastic genuine tapas, that came in generous portions, and at a...low price. Here you cannot go wrong, whatever you choose. Also nice that they have a quick service bringing the food to your table, but then leave you to enjoy the tasty sncaks at your leisure. It was so good that we went a second time, and again were very impressed with the food. I especially reccommend the albondigas, a generous protion of meat balls in a fantastic tomato sauce. You will not regret it!

I was really looking forward to the restaurant as soon as I spotted it in trip advisor. I guess I reacted too quickly Please don't get me wrong, the place is not bad, just wasn't what I was expecting. The menu didn't seem too Spanish...authentic. The special of the day was enchiladas. Last time I checked, enchiladas are Mexican. I was there already and gave it a try. Some of the tapas were ok. The chorizo was the best. The tortilla española was dry and over cooked. The rest was just ok. To complete my disappointment, the place doesn't take credit cards, so I had to go find an atm machine to get cash. It's all about expectations, and mine were too high expecting a nice fest of real Spanish food.

We had dessert here and enjoyed it! The people are friendly, the atmosphere very nice--cozy. We want to return for a full menu. Be careful when walking in as there is an Italian place next to it (you walk through the Italian to get to...Muy Bien). We thought we were ordering our evening meal from Muy Bien, but we realised we'd been had; we'd given the order to the wrong restaurant. Longish story. But we enjoyed our dessert and coffee, the service and the atmosphere. We'll be back for more later at the Miu Bien which is muy bien!
