Even if the weather does not necessarily play along – it is quite snowy – we decide to implement our plan. Conclusion for the very fast reader: for a small village in the Leinetal an amazingly good restaurant. Eating tastefully good with some not quite everyday events. And there are Ducksteiner from the barrel in the sink – this is quite rare in Greek restaurants. Even tonight we'll be kindly welcomed again. It is still relatively early, but some tables of the restaurant are occupied. But don't worry, there's always room in this house for the rich room. Whether the weather is cold – that is why it leads us to a cozy, cuddly place that we do not necessarily find. No, it's not cold, but we'd just get a cracking fire... We therefore opt for a presumably favorable place, which then also provides enough heat. Now we get the card. And of course the drinks asked. The kids decide quickly, I'm inconclusive. When serving drinks, I also discovered the beloved Ducksteiner and ordered him. What does the map offer? 8 cold appetizers starting with Tzatziki for 3,30€ over feta for 4,90€ to Mezes (dialog after selection of cook) for 8,50 enough choice. The white bread is slightly oily and probably a little roasted on the grill. Honestly – fresh, best homemade, white bread I prefer. The Tzaziki but again a real genus: nice creamy, pleasantly strong seasoned not too sharp. And the mixed salad is served. 5 servings, I'm sorry, the 5 servings are just fries. But take salad anyway. A very beautiful gesture. I have rarely seen the salad as mixed in a Greek restaurant: various leaf salad, some herbal salad, paprika (leach), corn, olives, red bean, mild peperoni. All wonderfully mixed. Unfortunately only with a little convincing finish dressing. It could be merciful for me – others would probably have excited themselves. After a short waiting period, the food is served. Ouzoplatte and Souvlaki are already described in the previous review – even today one was very satisfied. Three Suzuki in neat size, with Tzaziki on salad leaf, then the Pommes – with the salad hardly to create. The lamb fillets: very delicate, sauce exactly according to my taste with some small pieces of paprika. Pommes all right - but I've eaten better. Overall but definitely recommended. Next time I take rice... In the meantime, an ouzo was already served. Now we are really well saturated, but the house is waiting with a little surprise: for the children a ball of ice cream with a lot of cream. The parents look back into the tube – we thought. But we also serve a fruit cocktail with neat cream. A very beautiful gesture – but we prefer the Greek yogurt... Conclusion: Our good impression of the last visit is confirmed. A tidy kitchen performance, nice and attentive service, the little surprise at the end nice – an original Greek variant would have been better for us. And if it's a bit warmer next time, there's a bit more star in the "Ambiente"...
