Trattoria Toscana - Bad Duerkheim

We too tired of the local heavy Geman fare and opted instead for this restaurant in Bad Durkheim. The restaurant is very warm and inviting. The staff were very friendly and we had a lovely meal. The wines were good but we were too stuffed to go for dessert. Nice place, I would return! Enjoy

This restaurant really is an original Italian. Top proposals like the Ministrone or Vitello Tonato as starters. Excellent pasta or pizza. Level of originality and quality high. Only point to improve : lack of the Italian spirit and friendlyness of the service. Good wines. In summer a quite terras.

We went to Trattoria Toscana with family several times for both casual and formal events. We loved the Calzone Pizza, Risotto, and appetizers. Great food. Always a treat! Kid friendly, too!

After having dinner in German (Pfalz) style for a couple of nights (Saumagen, Bratwurst), this nice Italian restaurant is a very good alternative. They serve a more than decent Italian dinner and have a good wine list. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. If you want to get out of the Weinstube, this is a good place to go.
