Bidrage med feedbackOver the years, I have enjoyed many meals at Mario Goretti 's ristorante named after his mother, Rosalia. This cozy restaurant is a real gem! Besides the relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere upon entering, you immediately encounter a pleasant and helpful staff that will guide you to a table. Many days Mario, the owner, is on site and happily greets guests both new and old. Since most dishes are prepared from fresh and local ingredients, you will always enjoy a tasty meal. The go to specialty of the house is seafood. Most of the seafood is fresh daily and cooked on an open wood fired grill in the kitchen. The aroma of the grilled seafood and vegetables permeates the air in the restaurant which heightens one 's appetite. The first time I had grilled fish here I was so impressed by its freshness, taste, and presentation. Primo! All of the sauces are prepared from scratch especially the marinara which slowly simmers all day to join pasta dishes later. The salads are always fresh and served with a light olive oil and vinegar mix if desired. My favorite salad (in season) is thickly sliced deep red tomatoes married with slices of locally made buffalo mozzarella topped with fresh basil and finished with a quick drizzle of olive oil. With a pinch of sea salt, some crusty bread, and a glass of white wine, the first course is complete! If you have room after a delightful and non-rushed meal, the tiramisu is excellent. Throughout the dining experience, the service is first class! Mario takes great pride is offering the best seafood north of Naples with warm hospitality and attentive service. Don 't wait for a special occasion to visit Ristorante Arturo al fusaro Villa Rosalia if you are in the area. You won 't be disappointed.
