Rakuten Ramen - Azusa

Kept giving pork even tho i said i cant eat pork they kept putting it in my bowl.

This ramen is very tasty. Its always hearty. This place does have the worst service i believe due to the drive thru. They get backed up and it seems like inside customers get poor service. Aside from that this place is good in the winter time. karagi fried chicken is so good. If you come here just know the service sucks.

A cute little restaurant off of Huntington Ave. Clean and quiet atmosphere with friendly service. The bathroom is outside which Lowkey reminds me of a Del Taco building back in the days. HAHA. If you know, you know.I first ordered the Rakuten 88 with spice level at 1. I did like the spice but I wasn't sure if adding spice also means adding a lot of black pepper. I don't usually prefer that much black pepper but I still finished the broth. Still pretty good. Noodles and ramen egg were excellent!!! I ordered the tonkotsu miso ramen. I'm not the person who likes corn or spinach in my ramen so didn't prefer that. But the broth was a nice thick and creamy broth, which I love. Even though I didn't ask for spicy this time, there was still a hint of spice. Still finished my broth.Chashu on both occasions were flavorful and a perfect mixture of tender and chewy.

The young gentleman is really friendly. He explained to me about the level of spice. Delicious tasty broth.
