The Tap On The Line, Kew - Az Zintan

Nice pub, directly next to the Highbury train station. It has a beer garden, outside space the actual pub/bar dining area. You can see the station from the windows, which is kind of cool. Great atmosphere, nice staff. The pub is accessible to the wheelchairs but the toilets are downstairs. There was a baby changing table in the ladies. Families welcomed. The drinks were standard cost , food was expensive.

Booked a table online, when we turned up a very happy young man escorted us into the restaurant area and suggested a table in the corner by the station platform, perfect for people watching. We were brought a bottle of water and some glasses with ice (we must have looked frazzle, it was 31c). After a few moments menu's arrived and we were asked if we would like to order drinks. Nothing here is rushed and DON'T judge a book by its cover. It's a laid back place with laid back people looking after you, just go with it and enjoy. The meal was lovely my partner had haddock and chip's and I had steak, both were cooked to perfection, in fact the fish portion was large enough that my partner couldn't do dessert, on the other hand the chocolate brownie went down a dream for me. Good food, good service, great place and excellent for people watching. I will be back

Good food, great staff, and cool atmosphere. Right next to the underground station and Kew gardens for max convenience.

Had lunch today with friends at this lovely Kew pub, and had a fantastic time. I had the Sunday roast beef which was delicious: plentiful, nicely roasted potatoes, a large selection of veggies (cheesy cauliflower and red cabbage were superb), fluffy Yorkshire pudding with lots of gravy. My friend had the fish and chips and it looked wonderful, as indeed it was. The staff were exceptionally good, charming, funny and very efficient. The bar area and restaurant were very attractive and welcoming.

Came here with friends last night prior to going to Kew Gardens Light Show and had the Christmas RoastTurkey meal which is one of the the best Christmas dinners I have ever eaten. The place itself is lovely with a fantastic atmosphere and great service. Would definitely come again.
