The Kings Head - Ivinghoe

A very picturesque restaurant in the old village of IvinghoeFairly formal atmosphere but nice 'old world' decor inside, clean and neat.

It is difficult to write a critique of this restaurant as it has unfortunately closed its doors for good. It is a sad reminder that the team has moved on to other projects and the building has been sold. I have frequented this establishment numerous times over the years and have always had a wonderful experience. In fact, I even had my wedding reception here and have fond memories of that day. It is truly disappointing that it is no longer in operation.

Very sad to see this popular restaurant nearby. This last visit was not disappointing the food was exceptional (for anyone who did not experience the Aylesbury Duckling that you really missed on a treat! and the staff was very attentive. We had a nice evening, thank you! Wishing you all the best as you move on your next Chapter.

Our family has been dining at this restaurant for many years to celebrate special occasions, and we were saddened to have our meal here last night. Everything was just as excellent as it always has been.

It's so bad that this week is the last week of trading for the Kings Head after 30 years. It offers old style luxurious food that is no longer seen. Goodbye, old friend!
