Bidrage med feedbackSaturday and the place was empty which started the alarm bells ringing. Nice friendly reception, but despite signs saying fully licensed they're not and they send you across the road to the offy to get some beer. We order poppadoms and they arrive cold within a minute. We're handed one laminated menu between three of us, At this point we decide to bail, pay for the poppadoms and leave. In fairness they told us not to pay for the poppadoms, but we did, thanked them and left. They're takeaways maybe be good I wouldn't know, but seriously don't go there to eat. I really don;t like leaving such negative reviews but I have to be honest
Usually excellent, but tonight was extremely disappointing. The onion Bhaji was tough and difficult to eat, even with mint yoghurt. The pilau rice was overly salty, making it difficult for my husband to eat. Both the chicken tikka masala and lamb pasanda were too salty, requiring a drink to wash it down. Both naan breads were cold and undercooked. It's such a shame to see the waste. We have been loyal customers for years and are truly disappointed. We know you can do better than this. We hardly touched our food.
I am not convinced that this restaurant understands the concept of saag paneer, but it's easy to see why. The dish I received in my delivery was certainly not made with paneer, and instead comprised of a mushy, greasy concoction that was very unpleasant.
Tastes OK, baji’s were a bit greasy and the look of the food wasn’t the best. Ordered a sag paneer and wondered where the cheese was...rummaged around and put some sauce on my plate to realise they mad melted mozzarella cheese into the sauce instead of paneer. Didn’t taste rank but not what I payed for so felt a bit cheated. I’d order from another place next time. Also the yoghurt was bright green lol and mango chutney tasted like sharwoods...I’m more of a geeta’s fan myself
