The people there were very friendly and if you want to have a relaxed lunch, watch the view and finish with a dessert with cream (from their milk) and chestnuts this is the right place. You can not arrive with the car until in front of the door but you have to make a small walk next to a small river! Prices for the quality of the food, was totally ok. We were 4 and we payed 23 euros each, with food, beers (6 in total), desserts (2) and coffees! They have also a small shop, where you can buy cheese and salami and some other regional stuff and i bought some of the things i ate before, in my lunch and i liked a lot. They let me try also some of the cheeses that i didn't try during my lunch to be sure if i like it before buying it! And actually not only me in the end tried but all of us! I wish i could go back very soon but is open only for 2 months each year!!!
Alpe curneuil is a fixed stop for holidays in ayas. the quality of food is great and the location is fantastic. excellent fresh cream, inimitable. nice experience also breakfast (to be booked). fresh milk and cream, cakes, biscuits, butter bread and jam and, on request, also meat and cheese. unforgettable. all in a fantastic environment, with the sun that begins to illuminate the valley and the cows that go to the pasture. Try absolutely!
Special, as the ladies cook and how to eat here nowhere in the valley of ayas.
You eat almost everything at km0 from cutting boards to crespelle or really delicious soups, to conclude with super good desserts and a whipped cream of own production out of category. a panorama to take your breath away. absolutely not to be missed.
About minutes of pleasant walk from the barmasc riding stable above antagnod is this beautiful farm where you can eat excellent dishes typical of the valdostane in total relaxation of a beautiful view! home service but pleasant, excellent quality of food (perhaps only polenta does not meet my goto as a gratinate, but I repeat....va a goti) with a delicious cutter that I recommend as entrance, excellent onion soup, spectacular sweets, house wine very good prices and adapted to what is offered. It is worth trying to spend a day different from the usual but really pleasant in everything, with annexed nib in the bouquets made available!
