Fancy's On 5th - Avondale

The drinks were overpriced for their size. Average glass of wine for $11-12 is too much. Specialty drink glasses too small. Food was great, would have preferred one more salad option. Service was great.

Ribeye steak With Fancy's Fries and the back plate is the El Guapo burger. The El Guapo was delicious, totally worth it. The Steak on the other hand in my opinion was not worth it for the price, I paid about 36 for the steak since its market priced. Not as tender and juicy as I would have liked it, somewhat chewy. The in house steaksauce they make is a great compliment and added alot of flavor to the steak, otherwise the steak itself tasted decent.

Our server was fantastic! His suggestions were excellent and he was attentive despite being really busy as the place was packed! The menu was casual but varied. There was a nice selection of wine by the glass. Everything we had to eat was very good. If noise bothers you, you may want to try and go early or much later as 7 pm was hopping with people and definitely on the louder end of the spectrum. We enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back!

Yummy Food and great venue. The Straw-Basil Gimlet is to die!

Sat at bar. Service was great. Burger and fish was great. Had oysters before which were great too. Love this place!
