We liked the Prosit Oktoberfest beer brat the best, closely followed by the Kaise Krainer Cheese brat. Having been to Germany, we were disappointed in the Gurken (cucumber) salat and the German potato salat they could make thoseso much better to be more like the actual German versions. Overall, a fun beerfest atmosphere, to include the German festtables and benches. Definitely recommend for some fun/relaxing apres ski. Enjoy.
Incredible beer selection but average to ok food. Standard to exotic sausages, something for most carnivores. A smattering of veggie options but realistically this is a meat eaters joint. Fun and open decor with 2 patios for great outside seating. Niceplace off the main drag in Avon.
The restaurant is clean and offers an excellent selection of beers alongside delicious food. We ordered a platter featuring four types of sausages, and to our surprise, the pheasant sausage was our favorite. We also enjoyed a pretzel, cheese, and potato salad. Additionally, we tried a few Marzen beers on draft, which were delightful.
Wow! I had the pheasant, mushroom, and Parmesan sausage, and it was simply amazing! It definitely helped that my daughter Hannah, who is 24, was performing live tonight. The food was outstanding. I also indulged in a pretzel with some homemade cheese, which was fantastic. Thank you, Ein Prosit. I will definitely be coming back!
I'm not particularly fond of German beer, but they do have a solid selection of Belgian and Trappist beers, including Delirium, Orval, Duvel Single, and Chimay. The Orval was served in its proper glass, which I appreciated. As others have mentioned, the food is fairly average—adequate for keeping you from getting too intoxicated. The Reuben was decent, and the bread was the highlight of the dish. The German potato salad was okay, but a bit underwhelming. The pretzel, served with salt and cheese, was nice and hot. The atmosphere definitely has a local feel to it. While the bartender wasn't exactly friendly, he did offer me a complimentary shot of Jameson, which I thought was a nice professional touch.
