Great food, loved the Vegiterian Pizza and smoked brisket roll with slaw in the courtyards down where the band plays... really decent sizes and prices. I shared 1 pizz and 1 roll. Awesome venue for band, great sounds. Get in early if you prefer a seat though, as they are limited. Prices are reasonable but what i expect at a pub. About $8pglass of wine to $14 to $20 for cocktails. Love the idea of custom cocktails to the events and bands playing. Even though show was out doors next to the water i winter, i expected it to be freezing, however they have plenty outdoor heaters going so it was actually quiet pleasant. Also great band choices. Would definitely come up from sydney for another show. Great opportunity to meet band and get merchandise signed too.

Cool venue, I went for the open mic and was very impressed with the setup. I had an aloha pizza which wasn't terrible, but it wasn't amazing. I'll be back for he open mic, but maybe I'll try something else from the kitchen next time.

The Sunken Monkey looked lovely from the outside. My parents were here from Canada visiting for a short time and it was our last day, so we decided to try a new dining experience. We were absolutely blown away by the quality of food and outstanding service!!! We tried the chili prawn pizza, calamari, dumplings and the chicken burger! They were all delicious! The staff were so pleasant with great personalities and I can’t wait to come back here again! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, you will not be disappointed! They are also great with kids! 5 stars on everything from us!!

Lovely chicken parma! Was initially concerned when it came out looking a bit thick, but it was beautifully cooked- flavoursome and tender. Nice crisp chips accompanied the parma.

This place is amazing. Ordered every entre on the menu because they all sound so good, and ever single one was impressive. Had the special pot pie and seriously one of the best I've had. The staff were awesome. So friendly and engaging. Cant wait to get back here. This is my new favourite place to be.
