A Taberna da Muralha - Avis

Excellent eating and beautiful atmosphere. very helpful and warm staff. fully recommended. they have accommodated our picky children with simple but tasty meals of ice cream and salat. the adult had delicious local steaks.

We stopped by chance, and we didn't expect such a good place, a great service, a good regional cuisine. rustic place, surrounded by such a beautiful view. we tried the “pica pau de vitela”, I recommend:

Although we were reserved in advance when we arrived, we were told that there was a mistake and there was no place for us. we were invited to go to another restaurant of the same owner. there was a big enough table free and we had. small children, so we insisted on sitting on this table. When our job came, we were surprised to see that there was (again) a mistake and one of the records was not what we had asked. eating was nothing special. the place is quite small and with us was full, but all the time we were there just another group came, much later and then there was more than enough space for them.

Recommended! Very friendly place with great Porco Preto com Migas de Espargos and other fantastic meals from Alentejo. The restaurant is beautiful and located in the old convent walls. I will be back next time.

What seemed to be just a door known as an excellent restaurant. very nice people. very good food.
