Cafeteria Cerveceria Prados - Ávila

The food was not something special. I don't know why this place has so many stars. There is not the classic menu that we have in our minds. There is only one menu where you can choose your first and your second dish. The price was 12 euros in Saturday. A serious problem was that there wasn't an English menu and at the same time none was speaking English, so it was quite difficult for us to order. In addition, something annoying was that we had to tell three times to the waiter not to take our plates because we had't finish. Concerning the dinning place it was very indifferent and for a reason they had extremely loud the TV that we couldn't talk each other.

First of all they haven't got a menu with the prices. They have a standard menu where you can select only the first and the second dish. This is a problem when you want to try different plates. Of course the menu is only in spanish and no one was speaking english to explain us how it works. Also the food was not something special. However the most exasperating is that they told us to leave because they wanted the table (in the table there wasn't a reserved sign, like in other tables and they told us to sit there for this reason) and I have to note that we stayed only for an 45 minutes for a complete menu with first and second dishes, desert and coffee and at the end we didn't even finish our coffee. Completely rude and amateur

We went for Sunday lunch for a menu of the day. I would recommend a reservation as the place got completely packed. One good sign was that we were the only tourists there. The food was delicious, plentiful and our server was very personable and genuinely attentive and interested in our enjoyment of the meal. Don't go without ordering their beans as the first course. They were divine and probably the best beans we had on our entire trip. The fish second courses seemed to be the most popular and looked delicious.

Altamente recomendado. gran menú del día a 9 €. 5 primero y segundo para elegir. raciones generosas y buena calidad. servicio muy eficiente y atento, siempre con la máscara bien colocada, limpiar las mesas a fondo después de cada uso. la distancia entre tablas también.
