I only found this place through my partner, who has a holiday home nearby. It oozes medieval charm, the specialty is grilled meat, so if you want bland tourist clichès go elsewhere. I am a vegetarian, but there were still delicious options. Not to be missed is the Burrata, but be warned, the portion is enormous, a small one is enough for two unless you are really hungry. They are not mean with the tartuffo either! (For vegetarians be warned that the involtini have speck in them . I then had this amazing tortino da quinoa, (hello, we are not in the middle of the Italian countryside, who has heard of this? which is another anitpasto.(I love food but don't eat much but they didn't blink an eye. My partner is a carnivore, and said the meat was amazing. The service was prompt and courteous, and the house white wine crisp and chilled. It's places like this that make me love off-the-beaten-track Italy. Enjoy!

We were in the area to visit Alba Fucens and had booked this restaurant a few days ago for lunch. What a good choice we made, Menu was made up of a good variety of Primi and Secondi without being too overloaded. Our lunch was excellent,all our dishes were delicious and served in each of their own particular ways. Of particular note were the subtle sauces served which are not found in many restaurants. Staff very friendly and professional with recommendations and advise. The layout was not simply a country restaurant....the interior was tastefully done. Price for our meal was very good value and we will certainly be back !

Nel complesso buono, i piatti sono buoni, il servizio è adeguato, ma un difetto è stata la tavola che, a 9 euro ciascuna, poteva essere più varia. Per i dolci, interessante il gelato al pistacchio con caramello salato sopra, gli altri sono ben fatti ma ordinari. Il posto è fuori mano con difficoltà di parcheggio. In sostanza, se siete in zona è un buon posto, ma non vale la pena cercarlo. Belli gli interni con arredamento medievale con spade e scudi e simpatica l'idea di indicare i prezzi in scudi anziché in euro.

Il ristorante si contraddistingue per piatti di ottima qualità, con una presentazione accattivante e un sapore delizioso. L'atmosfera medievale, arricchita dalle spade appese al muro, contribuisce a creare un'esperienza unica e suggestiva.

We stayed in the B&B for 2 nights and at the restaurant both evenings. The food in the restaurant is quite good, especially if you order the grilled items. The room was OK, but watch out for the bathroom. The toilet is on a raised area and on the first night I fell quite badly when I got up, hitting my head on the wall. Even knowing this, my partner also fell. Told the owner and he did not seem to care. The breakfast at the B&B was mostly packaged cakes, nothing fresh. Yoghurt was provided as was cereal, but there were no spoons or bowls! I would not stay here again.
