We spent a pleasant evening with old friends in this wine shop in the center of Avellino. A quiet and welcoming place. The wine paper is vast and of first quality, with bottles of all regions and some French wines. We drank a Sagrantino of Montefalco Moretti really remarkable. Simple but very good cutters, idem other dishes. We'll be back.

I always wondered why the D in the name DWine. Enigma solved after last Saturday's dinner. The D stands for Delicious or Delicious for those who love English. At DWine you can book the table with a simple phone call. Giancarlo, the owner, is in the front line assisted by his two brilliant sons, Alessio and Marco. Directed, or in the kitchen, there is Mrs. Carmela. Is everything boring? Never, because DWine is a special winery full of surprises. It starts from the wine list where about 150 come from various Italian regions. I like to emphasize the approximately because the wine card increases every week. What about the food? Between a parmigiana of eggplants, a croston with broccoli, sausage and provola and a lasagna with porcini mushrooms are finished with losing me in the meanders of taste. The grand finale?
