Bidrage med feedbackWe absolutely loved this restaurant! We had a lovely table outside, which was just wonderful. The food was great, and the service was attentive. It does get quite busy, but everything is well managed, making for a really enjoyable experience. Personally, I preferred the outdoor ambiance to the indoor dining area, but I wouldn't hesitate to dine inside when it gets colder. I'm not sure if they're open year-round, but if they are, I'll definitely return this winter since we have a place nearby. Thank you for everything—we'll be back!
Food is always really solid. Service ebbs and flows with the crowds and then night. Servers are usually great but sometimes food is slow to the table. Conversely feels like they are trying to get you out of there as soon as you drop your knife and fork, but understandable because the place is always crowded and deservedly so. We’re here multiple times each summer as well as the off season.
Polpo was amazing as usual. Valary, Sam and Jordan were wonderful hosts.
The host at the front was incredibly rude. When I entered the dining area, there were only two chairs available for customers waiting for takeout. The host came in and barked at me to step outside, saying he would "talk to me out here." I assumed it might have been too noisy inside, so I went outside, and he then told me to wait out there while another takeout customer was allowed to sit inside on a chair. I’m recovering from a knee injury and could have really used that chair during the ten-minute wait. I don’t understand why I was made to stand outside while others were permitted to sit inside. I spent over $100 on our order, only to be treated like a homeless person bothering other guests by a snotty host. I may not have been in my fanciest attire, but my wife and I chose takeout instead of dining in. I was simply wearing shorts, sneakers, and a shirt—comfortable clothing for 8 PM that accommodated my brace. The food was excellent, but the staff left much to be desired, unless, of course, you dress as if you’re attending the Oscars and want to show off your wealth.
The service was outstanding. Our server, Francis, was fantastic. The food was simply incredible. I enjoyed a special spinach fettuccine dish that came with lobster, crab, asparagus, and scallops. There were generous pieces of tender lobster and full-sized sea scallops, along with the most tender asparagus I've ever had. It was truly exceptional. My wife opted for a classic spaghetti with meatballs but requested angel hair pasta, and the kitchen was more than willing to accommodate her request. We began our meal with bruschetta, a Caesar salad, and lobster bisque, which was excellent—perfectly balanced without being overly sweet, showcasing great lobster flavor. Everything was fantastic. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It’s excellent!
