I tried the Hawaiian Breakfast, which featured two eggs cooked to my preference, Portuguese sausage, and French toast made from Portuguese bread, served with coconut syrup and macadamia nuts. It was absolutely delicious, and I felt satisfied all the way until dinner!
I was welcomed right away and seated within moments. I ordered the Monte Cristo breakfast sandwich, which is plenty for two people to share, and it was absolutely delicious! The mimosas were fantastic, and our waiter, Augustine, was attentive and on the ball.
The food was delicious, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. I realize I visited on the 4th of July, but the waitress seemed unable to hear my request for a spoon. When I brought my issue to the manager's attention, he didn't address my request at all; he simply mentioned that they were busy. This experience was quite disappointing.
I always get the Hawaiian Breakfast plate with Portuguese sausage and sweet bread French toast with macadamia nuts and coconut syrup. It doesn’t look fancy but it’s SO GOOD. The Kona coffee is tasty. The decor is cute. This is our favorite breakfast spot in Avalon. And lunch is good too!
