The Backspace - Austin

The Backspace is a fantastic pizza and Italian restaurant located behind their sister restaurant, Parkside. It is a smaller restaurant, so I recommend making reservations early or seeing if they have bar seating available. The ricotta appetizer was delicious, as well as the wine and the pepperoni pizza. The pizza was full of flavor and had a thick crust. I suggest sharing some dessert with the table. Thank you, Backspace, for a wonderful evening.

A really good place to eat, drink and talk. all the dishes were delicious. the salat size is for the part, they could consider that.

This restaurant is ideal for a romantic date night. It is cozy and intimate, with a small number of tables and dim lighting. I recommend making a reservation. My favorite dish was the white pizza with arugula. For the two of us, we ordered pork balls, two pizzas, and a bottle of wine.

I ate here It was a busy weekend with ACL and MotoGP in town. All tables and reservations were booked but told me bar was open seasoning, which was fine with me. Ordered off menu pizza (no problem), salad and wine. I enjoy wine and made a comment about it. She lined up wine glasses for a tasting. I picked the one I enjoyed and got a fresh pour. The bill came and there was a small discount on it.I did not ask why nor did I care since it is not expensive. A generous tip was left and hope the staff enjoyed it. Thanks. PS.-If you are going for race--better hurry and make a reservation for parties more than !!!
