Thai-Khun at Whisler's - Austin

I love this place. They took care of the atmosphere super bomb. The candles with incense stick over them to give a fantastic scent. The decor is amazing and I feel like I'm in NOLA. The cocktails were so good. Amazing. I love this place.

Really great bar for cocktails. My wife and I stopped and ordered two house frozen tequila drinks. Not only were the drinks strong, but they tasted fantastic. The atmosphere is also really wonderful to help the bartenders as they are friendly and attentive. We could be served within 3 minutes, although the bar was packed. We'll return next time we're in the area.

This is one of the best bars in the world. I don't say that easily. Look, not only are they in a great location, in the heart of a flourishing city (East Austin)... not only do they have one of the most popular and tasty food trucks on site (Golden Tiger)... not only do they have an interesting historical context with the property and the building(Texas Tobacco History)... and not only do they have one of the most charming language havens throughout the city... I could go on for hours. I'm coming to the brass tax... The drinks are unbelievable and people make them even more. The staff here is everything you want when you visit a bar like this. They take care of cocktails and take care of people. You appreciate your time, your money and want you to stay satisfied. It is impressive enough to make drinks that are well thought out these delicious, etc. They have them so beautiful. Whislers is a large cocktail bar. I was in bars around the world and rarely can I get to the counter and back in less than five minutes when ordering a craft cocktail. This place is a Austin classic. It's iconic. Enjoy your moments in this place. Play talks with your bartenders and make yourself feel adventurous during the visit.

Loved the Mezcal drink, it had interesting flavors that meshed together real well. The Thai drink was pretty but a bit sweet for me. The inside of Whislers has a great ambiance and all the bartenders are fast, friendly, and helpful. There isn't a whole bunch of room inside, but it has a enclosed tent area that's perfect for the over flow and you don't have to sit out in the elements.

Classic Austin cocktail bar doubled down as a good hangout spot with loads of outdoor seating. Whisler’s is easily on of my favorite spots in the city. It’s got an old rustic castle vibe that plays great tunes and is dog friendly. The cocktails are incredible and unique. They also have food trucks on the regular apparently. We tried one of the chicken sandwiches from Golden Tiger and it was fuego.
