Smith's Restaurant - Austin

Been coming to this area staple for almost 30 years now. Always great service from staff and usually some space at the bar if you're aware of your timing. Drinks, taps and food are always fresh and delicious. Never visited this place and had a bad experience so it's easy to come back frequently. Also a side dining room off of the main bar area for larger parties to dine away from the transient bar crowd.

I’m gonna gatekeep this place because it’s always overrun with tourists now. Heads up though: they just added an auto gratuity. So if you’ve been coming here for a while, be warned (and tip a little extra if you’re a local)

If you like room temperature Guinness, this is the place for you. If you like Guinness poured the right way, this in not the place for you.

4.5 on the signature burger! Great service!! Got right in after the show.

Nice bar vibes, food was a bit disappointing, eg. truffle fries were a bit soggy and lacked truffle taste. service fab
