Bidrage med feedbackWonderful restaurant. Called in an execution order and was ready in 10 minutes. There are not many great pizza places in Texas, but the PPM Pizza is very delicious. I also had the spicy chicken sandwich that was not spicy at all, but the sauce was good and chicken was juicy. There are also fresh beers. we will go back
I love this Braupub! Not only their beers are some of the best in town, but they were the first Braupub to open in town 19 years ago! I love her seasonal menu and boss Albert is seriously talented and passionate about what he does. Her steak is super tasty (and hearty) and her seasonal ruby trout with asparagus and risotto is one of the best things to eat there! Your pizza is another great choice that comes from beer bread and it is FANTASTIC. They also roasted garlic bread with salad, that is a must!
The parking lot is huge, but divided with a few other joints, so it was somehow packed around 6:45 on a Tuesday night. It is not only a brewery, but it is also a stylish restaurant with some great food. I started my evening with the traditional Bavarian Heffe and could not be satisfied anymore. Then I had the Field Greens Salad $4.95), followed by the Fresh Vegetable Grille kabobs. The kabobs were $13,50 without a protein option, but you can add chicken or shrimp for $4 $5 when that floats your boat. The kabobs are served on a vegan lentil bean salad. The kabobs and the lentil bean salad were both dead! Veggies were perfectly boiled and had a cilantro-based pesto sauce on it, but it was not overly crushed with it. The Veggies also had a really good spicy but mild) kick to them. I recommend these veggie kabobs for everyone who visits. And finally, before I got out of this great place, I sat back to enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy the Red Zeppelin, that was my favorite brew this night. Okay, here comes all my boring, OCD counts things and lists what they have for you in the store: you have 15 beers on design some are seasonal so they spin), a good wine selection, a full bar, and a complete restaurant. The most interesting thing I noticed was the beer cocktails. Some beers mixed with liqueurs, liqueurs and syrups. See photo for descriptions. A 3 beer flight is $7.50. Crowlers 32 ounces to go on demand are $8 for regular beers, $10 for specialties and IPAs Pro Tip: If you are a three-pack, it is a dollar from each crowder. Yes, they have kegs to go, in 5 or 15 gallons sizes $12 happy hour breeders refilled 4p to 7p Most of the beers are $5.25 the highest price was $6.95 More foods: steaks, meat leaf, duck breast, CFC, chicken, fish options, burgers, pizzas, etc. They also have a free beer garden tented and protected from the elements. The night I was there and got my check, I noticed my beers were $1 off either because it was happy hour or because the waitress had one thing for me, I'm not really sure, but I have to go back and find out. Another important note the food and service was so good, I asked my waitress if I could talk to the manager something I rarely do. She looked at me like something was wrong, but I told her I just wanted to tell the manager how great everything was. Seriously, I'm doing the NIE, so this should talk volumes.
Visit NXNW for many years and was pleasantly surprised to see some new items on the menu. Stout Stroganoff was a little salty but still delicious with a good balance of meat, mushrooms and potatoes. The new Fish Chips (Mon Night Special was a great addition to the menu. The fish (Cod tasted fresh and served with many garlic-pommes frites. The half pound angus burger is one of the best in town. Get it boiled medium with bacon and Huntsman cheese (blue cheddar blend and you will thank me! It is $12.70 with bacon, but enough to share with someone (proposed to add a side salad). The Calamari has not changed to share a great appetizer. You have now fried oysters(! but were from the day we visited. The new kale arugula salad is a welcome supplement with delicious beet, sweet dates, corn, feta cheese and a light vinaiigrette. I don't drink much beer, but my husband can testify that her beers are always good (he gets his breeders filled there).
Solid pizzas and a well rounded menu and decent beverage list makes this a worthwhile visit when in these parts. What amazes me a bit is that even with such an extensive menu there is care taken in the preparation of each item and that shows in the flavor and tastes. Pizzas have fresh ingredients and are well balanced, though slightly underseasoned (a pinch of salt on the vegetable toppings would elevate them IMHO) and the mussels are a must get.
