Bidrage med feedbackThe owner and staff went above and beyond during the winter storm of 2021. Every place was closed and the manager opened up and served so many hungry cold people while the staff were happy to do it. The line was long, but the staff did what they could to be efficient with taking orders. We had to wait a little longer for one our sandwiches, and the staff checked on us twice to make sure our sandwich was getting made. Note it was only two minutes. I never get that kind of attention even at a slow restaurant after standing there for way longer. THE BEST PART: While I was waiting in line, a customer next to me was speaking to the manager. Apparently people were calling the store to see if was opening and the manager had the calls routed to his cell phone in case the power went down. The manager called everyone back that called him, including the customer to let them know they were open. The manager apologized, and I still don't know why, but the customer reassured him that they were driving around for over an hour trying to find somewhere to eat and were just so thankful for the extra thought to call him back. Also I might have been starving, but definitely one of the best subs I have had to date.
I called our order in around 1:30pm and was told it would take 10 minutes to make my sandwiches. When I arrived in the store, the sandwiches were not made but I the manager was heating up the roast beef for one of my sandwiches while he was griping about one of his employees not showing up to work (completely unprofessional). Then when the roast beef was done cooking, the manager just walked away. All our sandwiches continued to sit unmade while others who came in after me got their orders filled even when they knew I was there waiting for my order! After 20 minutes of waiting, I finally stood in line so they would finish making my sandwiches!! I’ll NEVER go to this location again, and I would suggest others stay away them too!
I went into this establishment on 05/25/2022 7:15pm. I was not greeted nor acknowledged. There was 6 people behind the counter. 2 people in the dinning area and no one else standing in line. I waited a few more minutes and left. This was the lowest I have felt in an establishment. First time coming to Jersey Subs and last. Had dinner at Yaghi’s Pizzeria where I was treated with the upmost respect and amazing customer service.
What a joke. Stood at counter for 10 minutes while 3 employees just ignored me. No excuse when I’m the only customer in line.
One of the employees who I thought was the Manager was extremely rude. I order two subs and only got one. When I asked about the second sub, the person was very rude and told me to go wait on the side. All she had to do was explain that the hot cheese steak subs takes longer to prepare. When I confronted her on her rudeness, she told me to go wait outside or she would cancel the order and give me my money back. You're going to lose a lot of business if you keep this awful employee around. You lost my business. Update: Contacted by Owner. Very apologetic. Will take steps to correct the problem.
