Einsten Bros. Bagels - Austin

This is a chain of stores I have seen around so I stopped in here for a late morning snack today. They allow inside dining as well as curbside pick up. The restaurant is clean, offers WI-Fi, and has restrooms for customers. Selection includes bagels, bagel sandwiches, beverages, snacks. I enjoyed a delectable French toast bagel with honey-almond schmear. Prices are reasonable and staff is efficient and pleasant. I will try these folks again, based on my experience. Stopped in and was disappointed to not get the good service I hoped for...wished I was asked if I wanted my bagel toasted. I did, and got a cold bagel. Not sure if it was my fault but it would have been helpful to ask me, since I don't know how to order necessarily. Oh, well.

Came in from Houston for ACL festival and I needed a good breakfast spot, something filling and good coffee. I had been to Einstein Bro Bagels before and decided this one was most convenient where we were staying. Julissa warmly welcomed my wife and I in and was patient while we oriented ourselves with the menu. We enjoyed the spot enough we made it our morning stop for the duration of the trip. The hospitality, excellent coffee, and of course big selection of bagels prepared in many ways make this a sure stop. On our last day we loaded up on bagels for the family, including a box of DOGGY BAGELS! We seriously need y’all in Houston and I will certainly seek this location out again when visiting Austin. This is my local Einstein's, and I've been patronizing them a few years. Their bagels are always fresh: soft and chewy. The shmears are seasoned well. Their sandwich materials are fresh. Every time I'm there I encounter pleasant employees. Regardless of whether it's a lazy weekend morning or busy lunch, I find they work efficiently.

I had a bagel today that was probably the lamest bagel I have ever had. There was hardly any cream cheese on it. The service was kinda rude. I may try it again, could have been one of those days.... I came later to the same store to find a super friendly customer service all women staff, with great service and they did put cheese cream on my bagels, so I change the review from 1 star to 5 .
