Walked here after playing a round at Holey Moley Saturday night, no res, got a seat at the bar. I eat a lot of sushi and it’s rare I branch out to a new place but this was close by. Hasn’t been in years but was really blown away by the quality/taste! The roll was unique, like nothing I’d rated before (kinkatsu I think), Nigiri flight all A+ like butter, no chew. Very tasty sushi rice. Staff favorite chicken karaage was actually my least favorite! I give that a 6/10. Service 9.5/10. Inside I Felt like I was in NYC with the vibe. Prices are good.

This is what an authentic yakitori spot from Tokyo dropped in the heart of Austin should look and taste like. Good yakitori? Check! Good sushi? Check! Good service? Better than you could imagine! Good vibe? You bet! Is it a good place for a business dinner? Well that depends on the type of business you're doing. If it's related to a love of food and fun then heck yea! Nick and Daniel were excellent hosts and I can say I will absolutely be back. Watch out Kome...I may have a new side piece in town.
