Cock-Eyed Cricket. - Austin

When we had our camp off of Cowley Hill. We practically lived at the Cricket. They treated like family. Food was superb. Portions we enormous and always a full stomach had by all. Wish we still had the cabin, so we could enjoy the Cricket. Don't hesitate to stop always good people there.

I went there about a year ago. The food is great and the drinks were good. I was able to speak with the owner and he was nice and he made sure there was no trouble in the bar.

I am glad this bar is made it through covid. When we are in town at a family camp, we always stop in for the best bar food around. Service is always fantastic. Love the atmosphere and the people we have met inside.

The only thing holding this back from a 5 star is the decor inside and out. Could use some serious updating, but the food and service are very good! I watched them make my burger and the person down the bar had a pizza which I watched as they made that too! My burger was juicy and tasty and french fries. They have a nice selection on their menu and I felt the prices were very fair!

I went in late one evening for the first time. They were gearing up for a local band to play. The salad bar wasn't much to it. The soup was good, I had the fish and chips and it was really good. the staff were polite and helpful. I would go back!
