Having been to Aussois 5 times previously, this was my first visit to L'avalanche. The staff were very friendly and managed serve our group and the full restaurant very well. It is a small space and as such noise travels. The restaurant staff didn't seem to mind the children having a fun time and playing the Table Football game in the bar section of the restaurant. The adults even had a game or two with the children which was fun. The food was good, the main dishes amongst the adults were Fondue and Raclette. The main dish amongst the children was carbonara although some children didn't like the raw egg so we will know for next time. In summary, the food was good, the service friendly and it was good value for money. I would be happy to return again.
To avoid urgently!bad reception.15 minutes to get the table sets and glasses. about dishes, nothing extraordinary. for typical dishes, like fondue or raclette if, we're not 2, we can't eat it.
Nice room in the cellar.Friendly service. Take a spinach and goat cheese (7€) fairly average and white wine diot (13€): 2 dots without taste, few sauce, 3 rotary potato and 1 salad sheet to make pretty; No vegetable. carafe 50cl of correct rose.Total 32€. too expensive for what we had in quality and quantity.
