Great service, courteous, eating was tasteful fresh and tasty

We've come to portico a few times. consistency is their best ingredient. Eating is always delicious and we enjoy something new every time. here is what we have ordered (apologies I do not remember all unique teller names): Ethiopian camp (beer) (I asked the most popular Ethiopian beer and we received a delicious option, see photo) sambusas (they come individually, we ordered two lenses and a bark meat. both very tasty and crispy) spicy lamb (very tasty, a little oily but great taste) veggie platter (partly for two people; all tasty options, although the spinat had a bit warmer). because we enjoy portico so much, we give it five stars. we want to give everyone a head that it is not the cleanest device. yet eating is fantastic and the personal is incredibly nice and patient. I highly recommend checking portico. try something new and support them local, black company enjoys!

We were underwhelmed. the menu was not of great variety. the parts were small. the waiter dropped a pan on the way out of the kitchen and put it back in our food without cleaning it.

I was hankering for some Ethiopian and thought I'd mosey on over to Portico. Never tried this particular Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant and based on fellow Yelper reviews, y'all didn't steer me wrong! Very good Ethiopian food! I got the veggie combo for takeout with a beef sambosa appetizer. The veggie combo was absolutely delicious, and they give one a good bit of food! I like that because I love Ethiopian food for breakfast straight out of the fridge cold! The beef sambosa was excellent, and the dough was fried to perfection! I think if it had lentils with a little bit of tiny chopped jalapeno, it would be even more epic! I have had a beef sambosa like that somewhere else. Anyway, if you are looking for a good Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant to add to your list of good go to places, Portico is the way to go!
