Bidrage med feedbackWe visited this restaurant to celebrate my brother's birthday, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. Our waitress, Bella, was fantastic; despite having multiple tables, she was always there when we needed something. The food was outstanding—hot, fresh, and delicious. Kudos to the kitchen team for their excellent work, and a special thanks to our amazing waitress, Bella. We truly appreciate the extraordinary experience, and we will definitely be returning and recommending this place to others.
I feel like the quality of dining has declined over the years. The salt and pepper calamari they used to serve was fantastic, and although they changed the recipe, it was still good. However, the calamari we had last night was disappointing; it had a chewy texture, almost like rubber. Additionally, they removed my favorite dish, the Szechuan beef, which is really disappointing.
The service was disappointing. The waiter who took our order was rather brusque with me. I noticed that while he would respond to others with "you're welcome" when they thanked him, he completely ignored my "thank you." It felt very awkward, and I assumed not many people expressed gratitude based on his reaction. Additionally, I ordered edamame and had to request it twice. When he finally brought it over, his attitude was rude, as he commented, "I know you already asked for it!" I believe I should receive all my food at the same time as everyone else, not after a ten-minute wait following multiple requests. This experience highlighted a lack of customer service skill from our waiter. This restaurant is usually a family favorite, but after this visit, I'm uncertain if I will return due to the subpar service. At the very least, a server should acknowledge a guest's gratitude with a smile or a simple "you're welcome," rather than making someone feel bad for requesting part of their meal. To be honest, my friend picked up the tab; otherwise, I would have left only a 15% tip instead of my usual 25%. The service was just not acceptable.
There were four of us and the restaurant was pretty open yet they wanted to put us at a very small (as far as Iâm concerned )2 person table right near the door and it was pretty chilly out. Not only that, if we ordered 2 appetizers, we were screwed as far as surface area! We couldâve easily been put anywhere else before I had to ask to change. The service was marginal; the man that took our order was very curt with me. I noticed that when everyone else said thank, he would say youâre welcome but when I would say thank you he wouldnât say anything at all. It was very uncomfortable and I would imagine not many people say thank you to begin with from what Iâve seen. And then I had ordered edamame and I had to ask for it twice and he was rude when he brought it over and said I know you already asked for it! I should be able to eat my food the same time other people are eating it and not 10 minutes later after I have to ask for it twice! He needs to definitely learn better Customer Service; this is usually a family favorite of ours and Iâm not exactly sure Iâll be coming back because of that marginal service. The least someone can do is say youâre welcome and smile when someone says thank you. And not make somebody feel badly because theyâre asking for part of their freaking dinner. I have to be honest, my friend paid for the dinner because if I did, I wouldâve left just a 15% tip. I normally leave a 25% tip! But he was not a good server at all.
Our server Destiny was amazing. she was there for everything we needed and was proactive with refills and great with suggestion. Destiny was the best server I ave encountered.
