Taco Tico - Augusta

My dad and uncle are obsessed with this place. It doesn't matter where we're going or what time it is. The moment they see this place, they beeline for the drive-thru.

We really like Taco Tico. We usually go to the one in Derby. After a weekend away, driving thru Augusta, we stopped at this location. We ordered 6 taco burgers to go. No sauce. 3 hot sauces on side, 3 mild on side.We received 6 taco burgers, 3 with hot sauce on them and 3 with mild sauce on them. We were driving another 15 miles. We did not want sauce on them. I do not use sauce, my 84 year old mother-in-law uses very little and my husband mixes the hot and mild. We asked the drive thru window attendent to correct it. He said NO. After an over 4 hour drive from Missouri we're not going to argue with a kid. This may be why a local chain is not doing as well as it used to. We're glad our local Taco Tico is in Derby. Next time we're in Augusta we'll see what else is available.

Very good local food! I love their taco burgers. The atmosphere is very comfortable, and nice. I would recommend getting something next time you're hungry and/or drive through Augusta. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

They have changed the recipe. Was not as good as it use to be.
