Panera Bread - Augusta

The taste and quality have significantly declined. They often forget an ingredient or two. They've become quite stingy with the chicken in the salad, and it just lacks flavor. I think I’ll be taking a break for some time.

Unfortunately, we encountered a serious issue with our two sandwiches, as both contained rotten lettuce. It's hard to believe that anyone in the food service industry would use such poor-quality ingredients. The lettuce was visibly black and foul. Thankfully, we were eating outside, so I was able to take one of the sandwiches inside to show the manager. When I did, I was offered a refund or some Romaine lettuce as a replacement. I had hoped for a more sincere response, something along the lines of, "I’m so sorry— we take pride in our fresh, high-quality ingredients, and this shouldn’t have happened. Let us rectify this mistake." Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. As I was leaving, I overheard the manager instructing another employee to discard all the lettuce, which at least meant other customers wouldn’t be served the spoiled product.

I ordered Chicken Noodle Soup and bread. The cashier, Ashley, was wonderfully kind and polite. Unfortunately, the staff on the other end did not share the same attitude. When my order was ready, one of them yelled my name and practically threw my order at me, wearing an angry expression and completely ignoring my presence. Since it was my first time visiting this place, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she was just having a rough day. I took my order and, to my delight, found the food to be delicious! Thank you, Ashley, for being so positive, friendly, and polite. I will definitely be back!

Went today for lunch with my daughter. The person who took our order was wonderful, I did not think to ask his name. It was very busy but he kept a smile on his face and was just terrific?we both had questions about a couple menu items but he didn?tseem to mind at all! Great service and as always, the food was great.

It is one of my favorite place) no matter what city..I love panera but I have issues, sometimes I get totally unripe, sometimes totally black...avocado, or unpeeled avocado slices for which I always pay extra
