Nina's Taqueria - Augusta

Nina's is a great little local spot for authentic Mexican. It offers an extensive menu of made-from-scratch foods with options not found in American versions of Mexican restaurants, such as cactus fillings instead of meat. I am grateful that the menu items are numbered because there is a lot here that I can't pronounce! Service is fine, prices are typical, the decor shows a lot of effort even though the building is shabby. But you don't go here for any of those things. You go here simply for the MENU.

We picked up lunch to take to my in laws. The food was just not good. One (not both) wet burrito had what I call liquid cheese ya know the stuff at the ballpark on your nachos. Nothing had much flavor and all five of us were quite disappointed.

Excellent food, kind of a hole in the wall restaurant. The chicken mole enchiladas are excellent. Tortillas are also very good.

First time eating here in a long time. My family and I stop by for lunch after traveling. The server was very rude and not welcoming at all. She slammed our cups on the table rolled her eyes at me when I asked to add an order of rice and beans. When the food came out she just tossed the plates on the tables as well. The food was ok, but the service was terrible! We will never be returning.
