Riegele BierGarten - Augsburg

If you want to see a true Bavarian beer garden, this is the place to go. Wonderful old trees offer shade during a hot summer day. It is a restaurant with self-service and a kitchen is unacceptable. The man who serves speaks on the phone and at the same time. Consequently, he was really crunchy, asked three times what we wanted to eat and finally we did not get everything. Unacceptable and indeed shame for such a historic place.

My sister and nephew loved it last year and we liked it yesterday. Nice ambience. Recommend reservations as the best tables were reserved! Wood stool without pillows were painful after an hour! Great food and the best bear around! Loves the special sweet mustard.

A large garden with picnic benches, self-service food, bar and small children's playground. Fantastic range of bars of beer and wine. Although we didn't eat, the food looked like Fab! Huge portions-so go with an appetite!

Lots of tables under an enormous tree, with good Bavarian food and great Riegele beer. Service is cafeteria style, bus your own tables. Many family groups

Good selection of Riegele beers, shade from the trees, and good selection of typical beer garden food. What more could you want! Also looked to be well set up for families, with places for children to play.
