The caffe door to door is located in an old bus garage on the old street railway station in augsburg. besides free wlan, different age groups, nationals and people meet there. ideal for the coffee on a relaxing day.

Super caffe with a remarkable concept. all against donation. almost exclusively operated with volunteers. a visit is absolutely worth it.

On the grounds of the listed tram depot in augsburg ( opposite to the employment office) is the café door at the inside. it has every day and is operated by volunteers. there are no fixed prices than everything is against donation. there are ( delicious) coffee specialities from a sieve carrier machine (cafe crema by gepa) and various cakes. In addition, the volunteers conjure every day a fresh lunch which is cooked according to the following criteria; organic, regional and fair. when I was there there was the auxburger, a hamburger with 200g meatpatty (the burger would also have given it vegan) cheese, salad, self-made sose and delicious rolls. the food there is from all the countries of origin and you should get in touchbook and preorder if necessary. in caffe ran chil out music and in a corner have fucked people but it was never too loud for a entertainment. there are free wlan and even the possibility to borrow laptops. the facility is beautiful rustic and the architecture enchanting. in the summer the huge wing doors are up and you can sit outside. for infos you can always turn to the counter and even want music. all in all my new favorite café, which stands out from the others in augsburg without wanting to. ps: the entrance is in the courtyard but on the street stands a small black piaggio ape which shows the way.
