The Acropolis is a nice restaurant with beer garden. The food was delicious and well prepared. There was a tomato soup. Unfortunately, this was not good. But the main court, as I said, was very good. It was all right. Middle area. The service was unfortunately overwhelmed. The lady was friendly but it was just too many people in the restaurant when that had been enough. Unfortunately, this was due to poor personnel planning. If you leave these points of view, you can really eat here.

We have been coming to the Acropolis for years The owner family is very sensitive and always striving. The food is always of very good quality. The dishes from the liver or the lamb haxe are to be emphasized in our view. As an appetizer we recommend the trilogia and the green shell mussels as well as all the fuss dishes e.g. the Dorade. Let yourself be surprised.

Due to the positive reviews we were too two, after a telephone table reservation with a voucher on a Saturday in the restaurant “Acropolis”. If you do, unfortunately you would have to say "defected" we were sent by a woman (wire?). We both ordered the “Kreta-Teller”. The very clear supplemental salad, which is at least twice as large in other locations in Augsburg, came beforehand. Then the “Kreta-Teller” from the hostess were unconvinced to “the nose”. I have to say I haven't had such a mini-portion on the plate in any Greek restaurant. It was at most a slightly acidified tablespoon of Gyros on the plate and a mini-mini piece of liver. Suwlaki and the portion of tomato rice were okay. Pommes that you get in some Greek restaurants were not there. Tastefully it was good, but also not better than in other Greek restaurants in Augsburg, but for 14.60 euros per plate we both found the portion too small – but we are both not “many question”. Ms. Wirtin then cleared the plates and immediately informed us that we should keep the voucher ready – without asking us whether we would still like a dessert and we had not yet asked for the bill. We decided to drink and pay, because we had no desire for dessert. Only when we go out, the hostess asked us if everything was okay. We told her that we found the portions too small, whereupon she replied that it was not on the voucher, but that the size of the portions was always the same. - Really? The first impression counts – we are disappointed and will not recommend this restaurant. All in all, we did not feel comfortable and welcome here. We won't go any more, that was the first and last time for us!
