Excellent atmosphere, truly amazing food. One of the best pizzas and steaks I’ve ever had for the price. It’s not cheap, it however is not expensive either. It’s a great restaurant with food that is worth more than the price tag. I Highly recommend eating here

Luca 's Ristorante has nothing but the best Italian food with unique dishes that I do not think one would find in another Italian Restaurant in the country. There is no competition with other Italian restaurants that is for sure aswell as the atmosphere and the ambiance. Luca 's himself makes each and every guest who visits his restaurant feel at home. When a guest leaves after their meal he personally comes up to them and thanks them for coming. My parents and I went to his Restaurant on fathers day and it was OUTSTANDING. The house salad, the garlic foccachio bread with olive oil and balsamic was really good. I could not resist the Veal Porchini that was served with tagliatelle pasta and vegatables. Other dishes that are unique to Lucas ' is Ravioli con salsa al Fungi, Osso Bucco and within the pizza range there is a pizza with lamb and rocket that is not found anywhere. There is also fresh water trout served with almonds. 'Trout Almondine '. There are also some other unique and most delicious pasta available so one thing about going to Luca 's Ristorante is that it will be a problem to choose what to have because one thing for sure IT IS ALL OUTSTANDING, MOUTH WATERING, TEMPTING AND DELICIOUS. It is very difficult to choose and that is a problem. Definately a five star Italian Restaurant, one of the best Italian restaurants in the country. Visit Luca 's Ristorante in Sunninghill for the best Italian cuisine and hospitality. Luca 's really takes pride and extreme care with all his dishes, his staff and also his customers.

Luca is not only an impeccable host, he does not only offer amazingly good food and wine, he is also a good friend. Cannot be missed if you are in Johannesburg.

I'm at Lucas nearly every weekend and have been doing so for years. When I think Italian for a meal it's only Lucas. Casual and always tasty.
